Justice for Cindy

I wanted to bring all of you up to speed on what is coming down the pike for you to read. I have been working on a new true crime. This has been a challenge. Not because of the lack of research, but because it hit so close to home. The book is titled Justice for Cindy. The back story is Cindy was married to a man who was a narcissistic psychopath who over a 14 year period abused her mentally, emotionally and physically. In the end he executed her while she slept. And that was not all he did. After he disposed of the body he filed a missing person report two days later – the same day he filed the report he moved another woman and her young child into his house. This woman slept with him in the same bed where he had executed his wife –
This book is very challenging to write, not because I do not have the research, I have it. But because after he was caught and confessed he only served 10 years for this murder. When he was released he committed another crime on a family member that was beyond words.
Those of you who have read my true crimes know that I do not sugar coast the book. The story is told in all of it’s horror. Some of you cannot handle it and think it is poorly written. I do not talk about her favorite color, where she went to school, who her boyfriends where or any of the other normal stuff. That is not her story. Her story is what happened to her and why. Her story is there was no justice for her because of the liberal criminal justice laws in the state of Oregon. Her story is because there was no justice for her, the murderer was allowed to be set free after only 10 years in the penal system and when he was released, he committed another crime what was just as heinous. Because he had gotten away with murder- he knew he could continue his life of crime. Not only did he destroy Cindy and her family he destroyed another family.
I advocate for women in domestic violence relationships all the time. I am a survivor of one. I know firsthand what happens and why it happens and how subtly it happens. I know how many women are killed each day in a domestic violence relationship- I was lucky.
Cindy sadly became a statistic. Please watch for the release of this book – share it talk about it and understand at any time a woman can and does become a victim in more ways than one. Many become statistics
